Lead Educator of Programs

The Lead Educator of Programs is responsible for developing coursework, educational material, and programming for Peacehaven Community Farm. The Lead Educator is also responsible for conducting, organizing and leading those educational programs while recording and meeting evaluation metrics. Such programs include Julian and Friends, a job preparedness program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and Cone Corps, a program for the engagement and education of at-risk youth funded in partnership with Cone Health.


As Peacehaven prepares for the building of a community center and expansion of residences, it is important that we continue to test and improve our educational offerings for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) community as well as the broader community. Building and Grounds Manager

Peacehaven is looking for a full-time Building and Grounds Manager. The Building and Grounds Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Peacehaven’s buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment. This position is responsible for identifying equipment needs as well as the implementation of maintenance schedules, execution of repair orders, and coordination with contractors for major repairs. Program Assistants 

Peacehaven is looking for two part-time assistants through AmeriCorps .These assistants will engage in our farming efforts through supporting our Core Members' work on the farm, working with volunteers, local disadvantaged youth, and teaching farming and employment skills to participants in our Julian and Friends program. They will also share time with our Core Members, leading them in other recreational or educational programs. This could mean a trip to the gym, leading a creative writing class, or playing music with them. The AmeriCorps Member's interests can help inform this work. These positions are available effective immediately, and the service term is set to conclude at the end of August 2023.
