Other Opportunities

Buddy Program

Our Buddy Program volunteers will accompany a volunteer with disabilities to ensure a safe and successful Garden Workday. They may also guide a Core Member (adult with disabilities that lives on the farm) in their role of providing hospitality and leadership during a Garden Workday. This volunteer will create an intentional, one-on-one relationship and provide an opportunity for individuals with disabilities from the wider community to work the farm with a caregiver assisting them.

For more information on the Buddy Program, please contact Rehshetta Wells at rehshetta.wells@peacehavenfarm.org.

Felting Volunteers

A group gathers in Greensboro every week to work with our fiber art program and to develop products that our core members can create and market. They process the wool first by skirting, cleaning and dying it. Then they card it and either felt or spin it in preparation for crafting it into items for sale. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Rehshetta Wells at rehshetta.wells@peacehavenfarm.org

Special Event Volunteers

Peacehaven holds special events throughout the year where volunteers are needed to help with hospitality, parking, set up, and clean up. If you are interested in being contacted to help in these ways, please contact Rehshetta Wells at rehshetta.wells@peacehavenfarm.org.
