Jeni Kirk has joined the staff of Peacehaven Community Farm as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Jeni will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at Peacehaven. Buck Cochran remains on staff as Executive Director and will be focusing his efforts on strategic planning and community relations.
Jeni is a long-time advocate for people with disabilities. She worked for 12 years as the Executive Director of Bell House in Greensboro, a residential community for adults with profound physical disabilities. Most recently, she was the Assistant Executive Director at the Women’s Resource Center.
“Jeni brings a passion for people with disabilities and many years of nonprofit management to this new role at Peacehaven,” said Buck Cochran, Peacehaven’s Executive Director. “I am anticipating great things for the future of our organization with Jeni’s leadership and expertise.”
